Serve Your Community
Volunteer with Civil Air Patrol
Join your fellow civic-minded community members who volunteer with Civil Air Patrol in any of our six Southwest Region wings. Our volunteers make our essential missions possible.
CAP volunteers support leadership development for youth, conduct emergency services missions, assist communities during disasters, and help make our communities stronger and safer places to live.
Civil Air Patrol volunteers serve in aerospace education, emergency services, cadet programs, communications, logistics, administration, aviation, and dozens of additional specialties.
Who Can Volunteer?
Civil Air Patrol has volunteer opportunities for people from all backgrounds and ages 12 and older.
You do not need to be a pilot or a member of the armed forces to serve in CAP, though pilots and veterans are welcomed and encouraged to share their experience and mentorship.
CAP welcomes anyone with a desire to serve their community and support Civil Air Patrol’s missions.
